In this blog, I want to share with you 3 very simple but powerful strategies to help you create more time in your business.
But first, let me ask you a question…
What would it feel like to have more time in your business?
And I don’t mean more time to do more work. I mean free time… time you can use however you want. Maybe you’d spend more time being creative, enjoy longer morning walks, extend your lunch breaks, or even reduce your working week from five days down to three.
The truth is: this is all possible. But it doesn’t just happen but you need to plan for it, set clear intentions, and create space for the life and business you truly want.
Now is the perfect opportunity to not only set goals but also intentions for how you want your business to support your lifestyle. One thing I’ve learned in 8 years of entrepreneurship is that anything is possible. We have limitless possibilities available to us, and the power to create our future. The fact that you’re reading this tells me that you’re serious about building a business that works for you and that’s exciting!

Why Most Entrepreneurs Feel Trapped
If you’re currently selling one-to-one services, chances are you’ve found yourself in the “trading time for money” cycle that so many entrepreneurs get stuck in. This is where you constantly need new clients or sales just to keep your business afloat.
How do I know?
Because that was me for a long time.
When I started my business, I had a clear vision. But as I became busier with clients, I lost sight of why I started in the first place. My business began to feel like another job except this time I was being pulled in every direction by clients.
Deep down, I knew I wasn’t really in control.
Then, in early 2020, Covid hit. Almost overnight, I lost a significant contract that had been a major source of income. Several other projects were cancelled as my clients faced budget cuts. It was a tough time, and it exposed something I had ignored for too long: without my clients, my business couldn’t survive.
That realisation was scary. I felt vulnerable, and I knew something had to change if I wanted to build a business that could withstand challenges and give me freedom.
The good news? There is another way—a way to create abundance and control, so you can finally experience the time and financial freedom you deserve.
And it starts with 3 simple strategies.
Strategy 1: Increase Your Prices
This might sound obvious, but it’s something many entrepreneurs resist. Raising your prices not only allows you to earn more without taking on extra clients, it also positions you as an expert in your field.
If you’ve been working with clients for a while, chances are your skills, experience, and results have grown. Your prices should reflect that. By charging what you’re truly worth, you can work with fewer clients while freeing up more time in your schedule.
It’s a win-win… you deliver higher value to the clients who are invested, and you create more breathing space for yourself.
Strategy 2: Invest in Support
Entrepreneurs are used to wearing many hats. We’re the marketer, bookkeeper, designer, content creator, customer service rep and the list goes on! While this gives you control, it also keeps you stuck in the cycle of “doing” rather than focusing on the things that actually grow your business.
This is where the Pareto Principle (the 80/20 rule) comes in. Around 20% of your activities generate 80% of your results. The other 80%? Often tasks that keep you busy but don’t move the needle.
The solution?
Invest in support. Hiring a virtual assistant, designer, or social media manager can feel scary at first, but the time and energy you’ll save is invaluable. Instead of being bogged down with admin or content scheduling, you can focus on the areas of your business that truly matter and that generate income.
Think of it as buying back your time.
Strategy 3: Start Monetising Your Expertise
This final strategy is the most powerful of all. If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that life is unpredictable. We need to build businesses that can survive even when we’re not at the helm.
One of the best ways to do that is by monetising your expertise through digital products like an online course, membership, or template bundle. Unlike services, digital products can be sold over and over again without extra hours from you. In other words, they allow you to make money while you sleep.
Now, I’m not here to sell you the fantasy that creating one digital course will turn you into a millionaire overnight. But I am here to show you that building a scalable, repeatable offer is one of the smartest ways to create stability, impact, and freedom in your business.
And yes… you might worry that “everyone already has a course” but here’s the truth: the world is big enough for everyone. Your way of teaching, your story, and your approach will resonate with the right people in a way no one else can.
By packaging your knowledge into a digital product, you can reach more people, create impact on a larger scale, and finally step off the hamster wheel of trading time for money.
Creating More Time and Freedom is Possible
By applying these 3 strategies: raising your prices, investing in support, and monetising your expertise – you can start to shift away from the cycle of busyness and step into a business that gives you more time, freedom, and joy.
Will it happen overnight?
No.
Passive income and time freedom take patience, learning, and experimentation. But with intention and consistency, it is possible.
So, ask yourself: what would life look like if you weren’t trapped in the cycle of constantly serving clients?
You have the power to change that. All it takes is the willingness to plan, experiment, and take that first step.
